Data Collection With a Modem

Dial-up modem

Modems are generally chosen when there is no corporate network and counting data must be sent to a central location far away from each of the buildings where people are counted, for example a chain of stores that would report to the head office.

The modem can be connected to any of our Data-Loggers. The office computer at the head office can then call each location and extract counting data automatically. The data is fed to the web-based report application with data. Counting data goes from entrance to report seamlessly, without human intervention.
