Job Description
Reporting to the manager of the mechanical department, Infodev EDI is currently looking for a CNC machinist (evening) and a machinist assistant (day) to join the Quebec office. The main mandate of the selected candidates will be to manufacture and assemble parts.
Responsabilities
- Operate machine tools (hydraulic bending machine, numerically controlled machine, numerically controlled punching machine and grinding machine).
- Prepare the various manual programming according to the machine.
- Build functional prototypes.
- Control the quality of the manufactured parts. Tolerance check.
- Provide ideas for continuous improvement.
- Occasionally assist production by performing the mechanical and electronic assembly of different products.
- Comfortable with EZCAM.
Requirements
- Hold a DEP in machining technique and / or DEC in mechanical engineering technique.
- Have experience on CNC machines.
- Know how to work with the two measurement systems; imperial and metric.
- Ability to read technical drawings.
- Meet the company's security and operational standards.
- Experience in manufacturing or electronic systems (an asset).
