Job Description
Reporting to the sales management, we are currently looking for a sales representative specializing in high-tech and electronic projects intended for the public transit sector. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining contact with our clients and prospects (transit agencies, vehicles constructors, transit operators and integrators).
Responsabilities
- Present, promote and sell our products, software and services to existing and prospective customers;
- Operates as the point of contact for assigned customers (transit agencies, constructors, operators and integrators);
- Develop, analyze and reply to sales opportunities (leads) in the public transit industry for North America and/or Europe;
- Monitor, analyze and reply actively to quote requests and tenders in collaboration with the Engineering team;
- Prepare pricing for orders and tenders;
- Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services;
- Use daily the CRM to follow up clients and sales opportunities;
- Establish positive and durable relationships with clients;
- Provide high quality after-sale support;
- Work closely with the various internal teams (sales, project planning, installation and client support) in order to meet requirements and deadlines;
- Participate in client calls for project follow-up;
- Plan and participate in tradeshows;
- Collaborate with marketing and engineering team in the creation of promotional documentation;
- Any other related tasks.
Requirements
- College or Bachelor degree (business administration, commercial management, engineering or related field);
- Excellent English, spoken and written (other languages an asset);
- Understand or interested in technologies, electronics, informatics and technical fields;
- Relevant professional experience of more than 3 years;
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite;
- Meet the company’s health, safety and confidentiality standards;
- Available to travel (Canada, the United States and Europe) (when covid crisis is resolved)
- Relevant business experience in the technology sector (an asset)
- Experience working with a CRM (an asset)
